Camp on Allyn is a beautiful camping ground located on the Allyn River in East Gresford, New South Wales.
At Camp on Allyn, we have everything you need to have that long-awaited caravan or camping getaway.

About the Allyn River
The Allyn River rises on the Allyn Range and is a perennial stream of the Hunter River catchment, located in the Hunter Region of New South Wales.
Our camping grounds are situated adjacent to the Allyn River just south of the sleepy little town of East Gresford, NSW.
The river flows generally south-east, joined by seven minor tributaries, before reaching its confluence with the Paterson River near Vacy. The Allyn River descends 640 metres over its 82-kilometre course.
Naturally beautiful, with space to explore, the Allyn River is a great place to relax and unwind.
Office Hours: Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm
Sunday and Public Holidays 10am to 4pm
Will Close Various Times for Lunch
Winter Months this Office Will Close at 4pm. (July, August & September)

Our Conditions of entry
We are so pleased that you wish to spend your time with us here at Camp on Allyn. There a just a few things we need you to know first!
Our policies are designed to protect the local environment and campers to ensure that everyone enjoys their Time and Privacy at Camp on Allyn.
- It is a place where you respect everyone.
- All noise must be down by 10pm (for your ears only) and no noise at all by midnight. Generators are NOT allowed at any time.
- We do insist you to drive very slow throughout the property (as sign posted).
- All activities are at your own risk.
- Bathrooms, grounds, toilets and BBQ area are areas that we try very hard to keep clean, we ask you to do the same.
- Please don't litter or drop cigarette butts on the ground. Pets must be kept on a leash and under control. Pick up poo and place in the designated pet poo bin. Broken camp gear MUST be taken away with you, NOT left on the property. Eg but not limited to: Gazebos' and or frames, tents, mattresses, blow up anything, chairs, tables, gas bottles, flag poles, floor coverings, toys and blow up swim items, carpet, tarps. ANY BULKY ITEMS. NO, NO, NO. We cannot get rid of these items. Separate your garbage and put into the correct bins. Refundable cans and bottles in separate crates for the collection by Gresford Tennis Club. A green bag is provided for food waste to be picked up by a Camp on Allyn team member. PLEASE do NOT put food waste in the bins. Food waste is given to live stock. No egg shells or teabags.
- Campfires are to be in a contained steel pit (provided) and kept on the concrete or paved pad on each site. Firewood can be purchased on-site (cash only) or you can contact our supplier (contact office for the number). If you wish to bring you own wood, we request that there are no nails, screws or any other damaging material. You will be asked to remove this from our property.
- Strictly no Chainsaws, Fireworks or Bad Language.
- This is respectful Family Campground.
- To use powered sites, only one (1) caravan or other can plug into power. PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTERED ELECTRIC VEHICLES ARE NOT TO BE CHARGED AT THIS CAMPGROUND.
- All vehicles must be registered at the office before going to any camp site.
- All day visitors must be organised with staff by the camper that is being visited prior to any day visitors arriving. Otherwise they will not be allowed to enter. All people entering this campground must register at the office.
- Remember, this is a campground not a caravan park, so there is minimal lighting. Carry some sort of lighting at night.
- Long Weekend, School Holidays or Public Holiday. No Refund, No transfer of date.
- Limited stay of 50 days in any 1 Calander Year.

Check-In & Check-Out
While we have large sites, this campground is NUMBERED LIMITED. It's not about your site. Please check with the office before inviting others.
Check-in is between 10am and 5pm. Arrivals later than 5pm must be organised with Camp on Allyn management directly. Please don't rely on friends to pass on the message.
All cars onsite must check in at the office and have the Registration Number listed on the check-in sheet.
Check-out, is strictly by 10am. Late fees do apply.
